Ingredients

  • milk – 300 ml
  • yeast – 1 tsp
  • plain flour – 500 g
  • salt – 1 tsp
  • sugar – 1 tbsp
  • butter – 10 g

Method

  1. Step 1

The most delicious buns can only be prepared with your own hands, and knowing the correct ratio of ingredients is not difficult.

  2. Step 2

We start preparing the dough by preparing all the ingredients. Heat the milk to a temperature of 37-40 ° C. Soften the butter, you can melt it.

  3. Step 3

Add salt, sugar and yeast to warm milk. Stir and leave for 5 minutes.

  4. Step 4

Meanwhile, pour the butter into the flour and stir, then gradually pour in the milk-yeast mixture and knead first with a spoon and then with your hands into a soft dough.

  5. Step 5

Place the dough in a container and cover with cling film. Leave in a warm place for 40-60 minutes. The dough should rise well.

  6. Step 6

Place the risen dough on a surface greased with vegetable oil and knead well for 10 minutes.

  7. Step 7

Then we form the dough into a sausage and divide it into parts. Make a ball from each part.

  8. Step 8

Roll each ball into an oval layer.

  9. Step 9

Then we roll the dough very tightly into a tube, pinching the edges with our hands to form a small oblong bun, a mini loaf. We do this procedure with each piece of dough.

  10. Step 10

Leave the rolled flagella to proof for about 40 minutes. Grease the risen buns with yolk for a golden brown crust and place in a preheated oven at 170°C for 25-30 minutes. Bake for the first 15 minutes with a container of water down. Then take out the water and bake for another 10 minutes.

  11. Step 11

Remove the buns from the oven and cool, then remove from the baking tray and place in a bag. To keep the buns fresh longer, it is best to store them in a cool place, such as the refrigerator.
