Ingredients

  • For the vanilla dough:
  • butter – 200 g
  • eggs – 2pcs
  • sugar – 1 glass (250 ml)
  • baking powder – 1 tsp
  • plain flour – 2 – 2,5 glasses (500–625 ml)
  • vanilla – 0.5 tsp
  • For the chocolate dough:
  • plain flour – 2 glasses (500 ml)
  • cocoa – 2 tbsp
  • cinnamon – 0.5 tsp

Method

  1. Step 1

We prepare both tests separately. For white vanilla dough, grind butter at room temperature with sugar, add eggs, vanilla and baking powder (you can replace 0.5 tsp of slaked soda with vinegar or lemon juice). Stir and add flour. It may take a little more flour - add as much flour as the dough takes.

  5. Step 5

I'll tell you how to make beautiful daisies. For one you need to cut out 3 identical circles from vanilla and chocolate dough. Place the white dough on top of the chocolate dough. Then cut each circle in half.

  6. Step 6

One semicircle is a flower petal. Carefully fold the ends together and connect the petals into a flower. For even greater beauty, you can alternate the petals: one with chocolate dough on the outside, the other with vanilla. Place a small ball of dough in the center on top of the petals - it will connect them into a flower and prevent them from falling apart after baking.

  7. Step 7

Place the biscuits on a baking tray and bake at 175°C with top and bottom heat until golden brown. The thicker the biscuits, the longer they will bake.

  8. Step 8

You can decorate this dough as you wish - only your imagination! For example, I made more turtles. We roll a lot of white balls, put a head and paws out of them and cover the top with a shell of chocolate dough so that the cake lies on top of the white circles - this way our turtles will not crumble after baking.
