Ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • fresh yeast – 100 g
  • sugar – 2 tbsp
  • warm water – 1.5 glasses
  • sunflower oil – 1 glass
  • plain flour – about 4 glasses
  • Filling:
  • smoked or cooked sausage – 300 g
  • cheese – 100 g

Method

  1. Step 1

    Smoked or boiled sausage - 300 g Cheese - 100 g

  2. Step 2

Many housewives question the quick dough recipe, but not those who have already prepared baked goods according to this recipe. If you think that this recipe contains a lot of yeast or vegetable oil, I assure you that all the ingredients are selected perfectly and the dough turns out very tasty, airy and soft! Moreover, with this recipe you can bake right away! No need to wait for the dough to rise!

  3. Step 3

The yeast needs to be crushed and mixed with sugar. Add 1.5 cups of warm water. Let it rise for 5 minutes. Pour in 1 cup sunflower oil. And gradually add flour - the dough should be soft and elastic. That's it - the dough is ready!

  4. Step 4

Who said roses have to be sweet? We will cook them with sausage and cheese. The cheese melts inside, and the sausage imbues the dough with its flavour. Cut the sausage into cubes and grate the cheese.

  5. Step 5

Divide the dough into small balls. Take 1 ball, roll it out and make cuts with a knife at the top - bottom, left - right, leaving space in the center for the filling.

  6. Step 6

We put some sausage in the middle, sprinkle cheese on top and begin to form our rose. We take 1 “petal” of dough and, as it were, wrap the filling in it, fastening the edges of the dough at the bottom. Wrap each piece of dough around the filling and pinch at the bottom.

  7. Step 7

Place the roses on a baking tray and let them rise for 5-10 minutes. The baking tray does not need to be greased with anything - the filling remains inside, and thanks to the large amount of vegetable oil, the dough does not stick and the baking tray remains clean after baking.

  8. Step 8

Bake the buns in a preheated oven until golden brown for about 30 minutes at 180°.

  9. Step 9

If desired, the top can be greased with yolk, but I don’t do this. I prefer the crispy crust of the dough without the egg.
