There are many recipes for delicious pancakes. Today I will share a recipe for pancakes with milk. American pancakes - fast, tasty and beautiful! And, most importantly, it’s very simple! Every housewife usually has all the ingredients for pancakes.
First, beat the egg and sugar with a mixer at high speed until smooth. When the mixture turns light, add milk and mix with a whisk. Add olive oil (can be replaced with sunflower oil) and mix again.
Add flour and baking powder gradually and mix gently with a whisk. The dough should be like thick soured cream.
Heat a frying pan with a thick bottom and non-stick coating. Place the dough in the middle of the pan; it will spread on its own to the desired diameter.
When the first bubbles appear on top, turn the pancake over. It should be rosy. The fire should not be big. If bubbles appear and the pancake on the other side is too dark, then reduce the heat. And vice versa, if the pancake is too light, then add more. In general, we adjust the heating temperature according to the colour of the pancake.
From the specified amount of ingredients I got 10 pancakes with a diameter of 12-14 cm.
Puddings & bakingI no longer pour milk into this dough. Soft, slightly “wet” yeast dough that stays fresh — the secret is kefir. Soured milk, kefir or homemade buttermilk is ideal for yeast baking. For a slightly “wet” dough, mix it on soured milk: it stays soft and fluffy, the yeast works better, and the loaf keeps its flavour.
