Ingredients

  • white loaf
  • chicken mince
  • onions – 2 medium (per 500 g mince)
  • cheese
  • ketchup
  • salt and pepper

Method

  1. Step 1

Fry the minced meat with finely chopped onion in a frying pan until cooked. Salt and pepper at the very end. It is better to use minced chicken, it fries faster and is more tender. I had pork - also delicious.

  2. Step 2

Lightly spread the fried bread with ketchup (can be replaced with tomato sauce). Place the prepared minced meat on top, cover with cheese, and microwave at high power for 1 minute. Quick breakfast is ready!

  3. Step 3

You can fry the minced meat in advance (for example, in the evening). Cool the cooked mince quickly, cover and put it in the fridge within 2 hours; use within 2 days. In the morning reheat it until steaming hot all the way through, then make the sandwiches. Reheat only once. You can put thin slices of tomato on top of the minced meat - it will be juicier.

  4. Step 4

Sandwiches with minced meat can also be prepared in the oven: you don't need to fry either the bread or the mince. Spread ketchup on slices of loaf, spread raw salted minced meat and top with cheese. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes at 200°C. Spread the mince in a thin layer and bake until it is cooked through: no pink left, juices clear, steaming hot in the middle. Wash your hands and boards after handling raw mince.
