Ingredients

  • wafer sheets – 1 pack
  • mince – 300 g
  • onion – 2 pcs
  • salt – to taste
  • pepper – to taste
  • For the batter:
  • plain flour – 1 glass
  • water – 1 glass
  • eggs – 2 pcs
  • salt – ¼ tsp

Method

  1. Step 1

To make lazy pasties, you can use any minced meat you like! Mine is pork. I take the pulp and grind it myself. I add a lot of onions, salt and pepper to the minced meat. As far as spices go, that's all.

  2. Step 2

The batter is prepared simply: combine eggs with salt and water. Gradually add flour and stir well with a whisk so that there are no lumps. Or you can put everything in a blender and mix.

  3. Step 3

We take regular waffle cakes, you can buy them in any store. I usually take small ones for brizols - it’s more convenient, but you can also take regular ones. Place the prepared minced meat on 1 cake layer, cover with the second cake layer and dip into batter on both sides.

  4. Step 4

Place in a heated frying pan with plenty of vegetable oil. Fry on both sides until golden brown.

  5. Step 5

Important! You need to put the minced meat on the shortcakes immediately before frying, otherwise the waffle will get wet and spread out.

  6. Step 6

Place the fried lazy chebureki on a plate with paper towels to remove excess fat.

  7. Step 7

That’s it – a minimum of time and hassle, and the desired dish is ready! They taste very juicy and tender with a crispy dough on top.

  8. Step 8

Can be served as a separate dish or with a side dish!
