Ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • plain flour – 2 glasses
  • salt – 0.5 tsp
  • sunflower oil – 1tbsp
  • boiling water – 1 glass
  • For the filling:
  • mince – 300 g
  • onion – 2 pcs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • water – 0.25 glasses

Method

  1. Step 1

salt pepper water — 0.25 ст.

  2. Step 2

What is the main thing in chebureks? In my understanding, this is crispy bubbly dough and juicy minced meat! This is exactly how they turn out according to this recipe.

  3. Step 3

First, prepare the dough for the chebureks. Make a mound of flour, add salt and sunflower oil, pour in boiling water and knead first with a spoon so as not to get burned, and then knead thoroughly with your hands.

  4. Step 4

Cover the dough with cling film or put it in a bag and leave for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, knead it thoroughly again and leave for another 10 minutes. Then the dough will be very elastic and pliable. This simple cheburek dough recipe is worth adding to your recipe box!

  5. Step 5

For the filling, take any minced meat, add a lot of chopped onion, salt, and pepper to it. To make the filling of the chebureks juicy, I add a little cold water to the minced meat and stir well. Then there will be a lot of juice inside the cheburek and the minced meat itself will be more tender.

  6. Step 6

And then everything is as usual. Divide the dough into small pieces, roll them into balls, roll in flour and roll out a thin pancake, adding flour. There should not be a lot of flour - just enough so that the dough does not stick to the table. To make the dough as crunchy as possible, I roll it out very thin - the surface of the table is visible underneath.

  7. Step 7

It is better to roll out several flat cakes at once, because... Pasties are fried quickly, and rolling out the dough is not such a quick process. Place the minced meat on half of the dough, leaving about 1 cm from the edge, cover with the other half of the dough and cut the semicircle with a special knife or the smooth edge of a plate.

  8. Step 8

To fry chebureki there must be a lot of oil - they must float in it. The oil should be well heated, but not burning; set the heat to medium.

  9. Step 9

Another filling option is cheese. Children simply love pasties with cheese! To prepare pasties with cheese, we use the same dough as for pasties with meat. During frying, the cheese melts and the dough becomes crispy - an ideal combination for those who do not like meat. You can use any cheese, as long as it melts.
