PayPal and donations

Sweet Eat never asks for a card number. A donation opens a secure PayPal page (Stripe later). The CVC and card are handled by the payment company, not by us.

Questions: PayPal. When we have a Stripe Payment Link we will add it; the card will then go through Stripe, still not through this site.

Recipes you send us

If you send a recipe, the email may include your name, address and the recipe text. We use that only to write back and to credit you on the film. We do not send newsletters unless you asked.

Comments and photos

If you leave a comment or a photo of the dish, we see the name, the text and the picture so we can reply. Up to 4 photos, JPG, PNG or WEBP.

The Friday letter

Recipe emails go out only if you typed your address and ticked the boxes. You can unsubscribe from any letter.

Cookies and data on your device

The site remembers only the language (English or Russian) and the recipes you chose to save. That stays on your device.

We barely use cookies. Your browser may remember the language, saved recipes, and that you already joined the list.

YouTube films load only when you press play. Google’s rules then apply.
